Magic is a variable thing. The tricks can be either hard or easy. I usually ace most of them, but there are some even I think are hard. I am an official magician, but it is not going to be my career. As you know, I am going to be a palentologist (more about that in a separate column).
I think my favorite trick would be either the famous trick "Cups and Balls" or the other famous trick "Linking Rings". I call them tricks because ... (I hate to disillusion you) ... there is always a secret to the trick.
Some tricks may be easy to figure out, but others are harder to figure out, like cutting a person in half and restoring them. Or, tearing a piece of paper (usually a dollar bill) into fourths, sixths, etc. and then "magically" restoring it.
